Official Partnerships

  • Opportunities, Alternatives, and Resources (OAR)

    OAR works to protect the civil liberties of those incarcerated in the Tompkins County Jail through services including: Re-entry services, Assigned Counsel intakes, and a charitable bail fund. Our organizations have worked closely together in the implementation of the Sunflower Houses, the volunteer driver network, and many other projects!

  • Healthy Food For All (HFFA)

    HFFA works to provide low-income families with access to food from nearby farms via community supported agriculture (CSA) shares. This includes residents of the Sunflower Houses and others in re-entry!

  • Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management

    Dr. Jennifer Majka is teaching a Dyson Grand Challenges project-based course that will parter with URO: Developing Racial Equity in Organizations (AEM3015). Students will work with our organization to learn strategies for combating systemic oppression in order to create equitable organizations. The class will be offered Fall 2022.
