Harvest Holiday Community Meal
URO will be hosting the 2nd Annual Harvest Holiday Meal on November 16th from 4:30-6:30pm. We're inviting the reentry community, our volunteers, partners and broader community to join us for a hot holiday meal, free food to take home (including fresh produce from HFFA, along with pantry items), gift card giveaways and most importantly, community. This event was very successful last year, and we are excited to celebrate the bounty of this season again with those who mean so much to us. RSVP to Keyanna Vann (km844@cornell.edu).
The Sunflower Houses Block Party
Join us on South Titus Avenue for a community celebration in honor of the Sunflower Housing and Supportive Services of Tompkins County Project! This will be a fun way to meet and build relationships with the residents.

Holiday Gift Vouchers & Donation Drive
This holiday season, URO has partnered with Finger Lakes ReUse and Opportunities, Alternatives & Resources (OAR) of Tompkins County to provide gift vouchers for families in reentry to purchase toys and supplies. Vouchers and information are available at OAR, REACH Medical and The Learning Web. Funding for the voucher program is provided by the Finger Lakes ReUse Community Fund & ReMAP Program. Bars of Injustice: The Ambiente Justica Edition
Join us for our second annual performing arts fundraiser, Bars of In|Justice: The Ambiente Justica Edition! Each year, we invite community members to speak to the injustices of the world and our community through spoken word, music, dance, and more. This year, we are collaborating with the city of Ithaca’s Green New Deal Initiative 1000 Conversations About Our Future to encourage engagement on these social issues and their intersectionality.
